loudbang I assume your being funny. But for the less wise those are Firestone Indy tires. Probably 18s.
They are molded that way. I hope to use a set some day but they’re pricey and limited in size options.

...Pretty wild Hotrod...anyone know of its story...it has a tube frame with flared openings out the front for?

As shared by @HEMI32 below...here is the link to Romeo Palimides Former Hotrod...

As for the flared frame ends he uniquely crafted the frame into the exhaust system and when in motion the air going into the flared horns aided exhaust removal...

...Legs on Louvers and a very unique Hotrod/Custom Hybrid...

It was a cover car and was run with and without fenders over it's heyday...I wonder if it still exists...

@HEMI32, thank you for that incredibly thorough history including links on this truly one of a kind 50s Hotrod...

Many of the Hambs most in the know, yourself being one of them really helped connect the dots on this one...and I certainly appreciate everyone's efforts including Lucky for having the curiosity of what he had purchased...much like @Youngster51 with his recent T acquisition...

Ironically I have even visited and participated in some of the Threads you have added links to...my memory is short, many times...

You have an incredible knowledge base of the History of these Hotrods having been around the scene in the capacity you have...how you pull up all these related links I am always in admiration of and very thankful for...

So its went across the pond...fingers crossed @bavarian_Tom chimes in with some incredible news soon as many have said restorations are no easy feat...

This post has went buggy with the quoted text...I tried to fix it to no avail...

This is a question for a experienced louver guy. a friend has a hood off a 74 Bronco, that someone sand blasted. It is warped, if it is louvered would it take out the warping, SOMEWHAT or help it??

This is an off topic vehicle even though the body style remained virtually reminiscent of the 66 styling...but many Hamb Friendly vehicles have vast flat areas that could experience this type of issue...

I do believe it actually could reduce and perhaps eliminate some of the warping you describe however I think you'd be hard pressed to find any Louversmith to guarantee that it would.

Are these these potentially plentiful that you find a suitable replacement...as you have to remove the bracing inside to perform the lovering operation and if you could not satisfactorily remove said issues you have to expend more time and dollars to straighten and detail to take paint...

Now being OT there is no Hamb Law against PM'ing a Louversmith here with your query as it's private...;)

Why don't you PM @JOYFLEA with your query as it's an off topic subject for this Hamb forum mind you there are Vintage Trailer Threads in the Antiquated Forum where you could pose this query and discuss it openly without fear of Thread or Post deletion...

PM is a great way of communicating especially if the Hamber is local to you for required services.

Here's a link below to a Thread on Trailers and Joyflea seems to have worked on Vintage Airstreams it seems...;)
