    Nice work, thanks! I've done just a little bit of work on stainless and it is easy to get in a hurry and screw it up.

    Question: Are the teeth on your file plugged up with debris or are those spots damaged? It looks like it could use a good cleaning.

    Thank you for showing your repair methods in so much detail. I have been using most of the same tools with good results. The key element is patience as it takes a lot time to get it right.

    I undid some damage on a trim ring a while back and found the bottom side of a spoon (like you eat your Cheerios with) was useful to push low spots back out. It didn't come out as nice as yours, but it's presentable.
