You know guys I’m really enjoying this thread and have followed every picture from the beginning but we might not want to “advertise” the pictures that are completely off topic. In other words I’d probably not put an off topic date on a pic. If a pic is off topic but not dated you can always plead ignore opposed to knowing.

Here’s my contribution, M&Hs on my ‘31 Tudor. I like ‘em just a little out (1-2” max) and fitting the radius of the fenders nicely.

I actually seriously disliked the way the tires stuck out of the fenders on my Anglia. I wasn't the original designer/builder. I rebuilt it from a crashed basket case.
To move the tires inside the fenders, or even close, would have taken a complete rear chassis, cut off and rebuild, and I definitely didn't have the money to do that.

31hotrodguy: unfortunately I sold the sedan a few years back, regretted it immediately. I’ve tried to buy it back but no luck.

I suppose I spent too much of the '90s kicking against two local misconceptions (i.e. 1. that all hot rods necessarily have Jaguar XJ6 suspension all round, and 2. that "bigs and littles" means the biggest tyres in the catalogue on the back and the second-biggest on the front) resulting in tyres sticking out of all four wheelwells. The look is still favoured on tow trucks here — most are Japanese pickups sitting risibly high on very short, very fat tyres:

I'm struggling to see it through new eyes.

I’m not a full fender kinda guy but IMO this is a really neat car down to even the color and wheels. I think it is only a few adjustments away from being perfect!
