    Hola Gui !
I was just looking at the penatabua.com web page and I discovered this very cool racing car that Nelson Piquet is driving. I hope he will be participating at this years race, I hope that some one will get a shot of the " LEVIATHAN " side by side with it, or even better, the " LEVIATHAN " passing this beautiful blue vintage classic!
Be safe, be fast and be first across the finish line!

    Dennis.

Last weekend happened the Pe Na Tábua 2020, abs old car and motorcycle event here in Brazil, in the DIMEP Farm, a particular racing circuit here in São Paulo, Brazil.
I went with my Leviathan, the V12 Seagrave Speedster, for the first racing test drive , and with my 1948 Indian Chief too

The Seagrave runs great in the circuit, but I must make some modifications to make the car more usable.
1- put a Ford F600 Truck steering box, much more low geared than the 1926 Buick that I’m using. The 1926 Buick steering is much more heavy than acceptable.
2- upgrade the cooling system, with water deflectors inside the radiator box.
3 - put a more efficient voltage regulator. The dynamo don’t charge very well in idle.
4- make a complete overhaul in the starter.
5 - make 4 wheels balancing and aligning.

My 1948 Chief. A great bike to ride.

I stopped before the end of the 6 laps race negou-se I felt the engine a little hot. So I try to avoid any damage.

  6. You and your family need to enjoy your creation. With all of the sweat and blood that I am sure went into building it you deserve the enjoyment.

I can’t imagine the big beautiful beast not being very well received by all that attended.

    Hola Gui and family.
Absolutely outstanding. The Leviathan looks stunning on the track. Perfection achieved, looking forward to further development of the components of this great creation!

I will work on another poem for the Leviathan.

Excellent job! It took me a couple of years to get my vintage race car sorted out after I got it all together, so just keep at it. I'm sure you already know it, but keep a logbook and record everything you can think of. This is especially important if you run on several different tracks.

Last month I had to disassemble the engine because one main bearing turned inside the block and damaged the block.
I send the whole inferior block to the engine shop to make corrections.
    IMG_0437.JPG IMG_0438.JPG IMG_0439.JPG
I believe in 4-6 weeks we could put the engine together again.
    IMG_0425.JPG IMG_0426.JPG IMG_0429.JPG IMG_0430.JPG IMG_0431.JPG IMG_0432.JPG
A lot of work to do all again!!
    IMG_0433.JPG IMG_0428.JPG IMG_0427.JPG
But we have some energy to spend around here!!

It will all be a distant memory soon...you and your Team are hugely motivated @Drmalacarne...The silver lining is it's repairable and no one was hurt...
