“Back in the Day” – The “Tinley Park Express” Tony Bettenhausen won the USAC-sanctioned 150-mile stock car race at the “Milwaukee Mile” in West Allis, Wis., on Sunday afternoon, July 19, 1959. The 42-year-old Bettenhausen drove his Roger Ward-owned 1958 Ford No. 99 to the victory ahead Nelson Stacy and Darel Dieringer. The Illinois racer received the huge N.
