    Maybe I'm a little slow... but I just noticed the Impala is longer than the other models. From rear axle to rear bumper. That, the fake side scoop and 3 taillights each side required unique quarter panels. It was probably an expensive car to make.

    I remember an old movie with Tony Randall and Burl Ives played a genie. Tony drove a 58 Impala convertible with dual exhaust and dual antennas.
    I just looked it up: The Brass Bottle. It also starred Barbara Eden before she starred in I Dream of Jeannie.
