I bought a new bead roller and needed to build a stand. I was telling a buddy and he said in a home shop you burn up to much room with tools on stands so it got me to thinking I already have a stand for my Shrinker stretcher. I did a bit of fabricating so I can change out tools when I need to. I also Added pegs to hang the dies on and rigged up an old steering wheel instead of the crank but I still need more work on that part. Yes, I’ve a bead roller and Shriner/stretcher with T plates under them all, fit right in the vise.

You are going to like that steering wheel instead of the crank ‼️ Now get to work ‼️

Well it was suggested from a world class Canadian hotrod builder!
So of course I had to try it.

Put a necker's knob on the wheel.

I saw a video that showed a stand with a trailer hitch receiver mounted vertically where different tools could be swapped out.

I've got one of the old manual tire changers bolted to the floor. I welded a pipe on the bottom of my sheet metal break that slides over the center post on the tire changer. I'm going to set my bead roller up the same way, and if I can ever afford them, a shrinker stretcher and beverly shear. Saves a lot of floor space.

I used square tube to accomplish the same thing. The top goes straight up and off. Makes it easier to load into a truck etc.

Also thought about a shrinker/stretcher to fit on the stand too. Less floor space...
