It is absolutely a blast. Good times had by all. We had a couple of broken transmissions. One in Charlie Hascalls 32 Ford roadster and the other in Zach’s coupe.

Well. If vid won’t load on my phone, YouTube has no chance. :)

Thanks, I did see OP was from Oregon. I was just curious.
Now run along and tell me where I actually walked into the room housing the Cray Computer. Hint. It was being taken apart at the time

Really was a great time. Loved the sounds of the Flathead four bangers.

    Very cool.
I frequent Dayton Oregon and the surrounding area , my brother had "Archie's" a 50's themed Ice cream parlor and eatery in town where every friday night was Hot Rod Hangout Night.
I have met Charlie and some of the gang , a group of guys out having alot of fun the way it should be done, down and sometimes dirty.
I was in town for the annual Harvest Festival a few years back , they were trying too get some cars together for some drags on a blocked off city street, 4 cylinder and V 8 flat heads only , but they had troubles getting some cars gathered up or something, because nothing ever happened ,,,
Charlie even hit me up too run my "Bullet Nose" Stude ... that I happened to drive down for the day ....being a stock flathead 6 at the time , it fit in I guess.
But I declined the invite due to some clutch issues I was having...was trying to have enough left for the 75mile return trip back home that night.
    Great video ...
My brother just picked up a 30-31 model a chop-top coupe so I need to get back over that way and check it out.

Charlie and the gang used to run cars (single only) on the street in front of Archies, along the city square. They moved the event a few blocks, along the sports field at the Hi School. We used to take the Track Roadsters down for a little fun, with 25 cars or so. P1010067.JPG P1010068.JPG P1010080.JPG P1010046.JPG

It is an invitational event for 1934 and older cars. Must be flathead.

The one at 5:35 just cruised right up! The guys in the back could have had a beer in their hand. Interesting how some are left and some right hand drive. Buy an A here, pay to ship it over and then beat the snot out of it on a muddy hill. Good form ! Mike
