Hot Rods Flathead intake gasket

Should I use an early 32-48 intake gasket when installing an early manifold on a 8BA flathead or the late 49-53 gasket.
Also, should I use some type of sealant, grease or dry?

i would think to use the gasket that goes with the intake, as you are not using the draft tube. what are you doing to replace the draft tube? many folks use grease on the intake gasket so it can be re used a few times
