1958 Ford Custom business coupe · Coupe · Driven 85,000 miles Reluctantly putting this up for sale. It is a business Coupe (rear windows don't roll down and has a package tray instead of a backseat). It has the original 223 in it which is now locked up from sitting in the weather without an air cleaner or Hood. Stock 3 speed on the tree. I have a low mileage Ford replacement 223 with a 1963 production date. Stock exhaust manifold has been split (4/2). It also comes with a John Mummert adapter to convert it to a T-5. The transmission came from a running Mustang. I drove it and found no issues. The driveshaft is already built for the 5-speed. I have all the front sheet metal however, the fenders need work. It comes with 2 hoods. 3 grilles. It comes with an NOS in the box, "target sight" for the front bumper. NOS, in the box back-up lights, NOS headlight trim. NOS Offenhauser finned aluminum valve cover (fits the early center bolt head). Extra inner front sheet metal, Mustang bucket seats (need to be reupholstered), Chrome rims/baby moons. New tires. Many extra parts. Body work was done by the guys at Gene Winfield's Rod and Custom. Dry So-Cal desert car. It's a project, no doubt. I believe this is the rarest model produced in 1958 with only about 4,060 made. [email protected]
