Keep em coming. Many of these images don’t show up. I would like to see them with padded tops.

Yeah, what is that rear window in the '51 above? I vaguely recall someone saying they used some Dodge pickup truck windshield moldings to eliminate the sharp lower corner on a '51 Mercury rear window and make it easier to lay down but I have no idea if that's what I'm looking at or not.

Update. MSD BOX burn’t up and caused the spark to disappear, acting as if a electric fuel pump was bad. The fix: put my old dual point distributor back in, a new set of points, a ballast resistor, a new condenser&rotor. Found nothing wrong @ fuel pump. The old Flathead is ready for the next adventure.[IMG]Thanks to @54delray & Mick@straykatkustoms, nice to hear from fellows that encourage others that are having issues with these older rides. Keep the Kustom Faith and lets Roll On.

I recall reading about it, Rodders Journal Number Fifty Five. (Page 109)
"Rick got a laminated repro piece of back glass and whittled it down to a slightly smaller, rounded, pleasing shape, and did considerably more work reshaping the opening (and rear roof/deck area) to accept it, along with an insert rubber seal and molding to match the other glass."

Same article (page 106) also says,
"Rear window opening sectioned and bottom corners rounded, recessed lip added to accommodate rubber and custom stainless molding"

Guy's. Take a Hard Look at the red 51 Merc in Post #2863. Tell me what kind of rear window and trim it is using. Very Clean.

  24. Looks almost like a '65 Riviera headlight flipped upside down with some sort of see-thru lense modelled after the clamshell.

I seriously need to see a picture of this car, at dusk, with someone inside pushing on the brake pedal. I want to see that setup lit up. It's wild and unexpected and I kinda love it.
