Took these off some old 55 Chevy wheels. Inglewood “Dragster” piecrust slicks. 28.5 tall and 8” wide. Would look killer as garage art! Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
You're right! ship them to meand I'll put them on my wall in my carport cuz I don't have a garage haha
Are you sure those are Inglewood? maybe they changed their recap molds. Just asking 'cause I got these 10x15 new/old stock slicks off ebaY (never been on a wheel!!!) for use on my Mysterion. The pie crust notches are different but the same as on Ed's car.
Apparently, so is spelling. Lol Love the slicks. They've got the right look as opposed to some of them out there that look like tractor tires.
They sure do, hard to see in your first pictures. My Inglewood slicks looked like the ones Willys36 posted, never seen a pair like yours. Old slicks are a funny thing, you can't feel completely comfortable running them on the street, especially at highway speeds, and they are too bulky and usually too expensive to buy and just store/display. But they are just plain cool and a part of our history so they are hard to resist. I've got several pairs including two pairs of old pie crust M&H Racemaster Dragsters, I actually ran one pair of 10.00-15s on my Model A sedan for a while with no problems. Like someone once said, there's more real rubber in a pair of those slicks than in an entire set of modern car tires.
I've got no spare cash to toss at wall art, and no open wall space either! My tires need to be under my cars!
I have more of one than the other but love draggin junk home.. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
That one looks like it has sidewall hemorrhaging but those might be just the ticket for someone's display only period correct drag car that will never see the track..
They’re for sale. 299 for the pair. Can assist with shipping. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
