Well there I was fresh back from Bonneville and some neighbors said they would help get rid of all the salt underneath.

 

My Dad doing what he loved doing before we lost him....

My Uncle in Athens, PA was a Genesee Cream Ale guy. Always had a case in the basement. Great beer IMO but hard to find in SoCal. I'm sure they have it in Heaven. Have a cold one for me, Uncle Al.

Mr. Kenny Shoemaker in the Ted Vogel hot rod at the Fonda Speedway in upstate NY...the class was called Modified Sportsman...you cant drive an old Ford into a corner any harder than this...makes me smile...

MikeC, great picture. Turning right & going left. Kenny was very good at demolishing lot of fast race cars. If I remember, what’s probably why he drove for a lot of different owners.

 

My dad after getting my uncles Chris Craft boat to run. He had 4 mechanics look at it. My dad had it running in a hour.. The wire between the coil and the points only had a couple strands and was screwing up the coil power.. He changed the wire and installed a Mark 10 Capacitive Discharge box and that boat always started. It had a 327 Chevrolet motor... I loved how that boat sounded when it was coming in to the dock with the water going in and out of the water proof steel packs..

My grandfather CJ (left) me and Ron Luchs (who owned Taboo at the time) We all won our class that weekend with our cars.


My grandparents and I with "Terminator" a 55 Chevy pickup my grandpa built, he likes this pic to show how sectioned that truck as I am only 3 or 4 here.

CJ and I with John D'Agostino after Taboo's first show after restoration. We were on cloud 9 after how well the car did.

This is one of the few times we didnt know someone had a camera. We were sitting around at a show in Medford.

This one is funny as its one of the only ways I could get my actual parents and myself with something cars related as they are not into the scene.
