    I don't believe that flamed Chev is Bill Hoffman's. Flames are different, as is back window, wheels etc.
    Great looking car though.

    this is my old 54, sold it before I ever got a chance to fully finish it but it had a 53 front clip with a Cali bumper, chopped 2.5 inches, 52 styleline rear window, 56 Packard quarters, 53 caddy rear bumper that had been narrowed 6”, shaved, nosed, decked, rear Inner wheel wells raised 4”, frame notched 8”, mustang 2 (don’t suggest, most parts made for them are Chinese crap) a very hot 235, 3spd OD out of a 58 biscayne, 57 Chevy drive shaft (fit perfect) and a (hang my head in shame) 4x4 s-10 rear with 6.70 Firestone’s all the way around. Car ran and drove great. I miss it dearly sometimes...

    That's the '54 that Russ Meeks from Portland, OR. built, saw it in his shop years ago. He used lead, no Bondo dust any where. I don't think he finished the car and it later showed up in California. Dyno Dave

    According to the old inter web search, Russ Meeks built it and a guy named Greg White owns it now.
    Russ removed the b-pillars and chopped it 2”.
    I’d say there was definitely a Hoffman influence there though. Both are great looking cars, in my opinion.

    No, this is an un-chopped, Watson scalloped 2-door sedan. Moonglow was a chopped 2-door hardtop.

    I first saw this one at Columbus year before last but didn't take any pictures. I happened to run up on him again later that summer at Louisville. The pics aren't great but this is one clean, well detailed build. The pictures don't do it justice.
