Absolutely appreciate this 47/48 to the max, that a man can.
I had one and let it get away to finish my Avtar, stupidest thing I ever did in the car world. Mine was on a '73 caprice complete chassis including the SBC, lowered, upholstery like new, Buick wires. Painted a Butternut yellow. I had removed the side stainless, and bumper guards and was getting ready to french the headlights when the 34 came along. Tried to buy it back but the owner wanted 40K for it at the time. If it is still out there some where in the Pacific NW, I will trade my hemi '34 if you want it.

Very nice I never saw a Big Buick with a lift off roof. Can two people lift it off?

I usually use four people (that's if I can find four club members that haven't had bypass surgery) two people could lift it but four gives better balance. I am not sure what Jerry made it out of but its very light.

Ofcourse no Kustom Buick thread would be complete without mention of Darryl Starbird’s 59’ Buick. He used it to tow his newly finished Predicta across 15 states in 1960. Legendary stuff!! Photo credit & info to Kustomrama

Owned by none other than TV Tommy Ivo when he was 16!! Used the money from TV and movies to buy it brand new. Drove it to school and the kids made fun of it so he slobbered paint all over it drag raced it a few times hit a whopping 88 mph.

Got tired of the ballbusting and had it customized and the laughing stopped. :)

Don't know anything about this, but it certainly carries the theme....
