    What bellhousing do I need to mate a T=5 to a chevy 283?

    Or 153, 194, 230, 250, 262, 265, 267, 292, 302, 307, 327, 348, 350, 366, 396, 400, 402, 409, 427, 454, 496, 572.....etc...

    Well, Fbody BHs will clock the tranny over (as I recall) may not be what you want.
    I think better question is to ask if the T5 bolts to a “normal “ BH. I don’t know, just tossing it out there

    I think that the 283 is drilled just for a starter that fits a 168-tooth flywheel.

    You will need one that fits one of those.
