My second favorite roadster after Dick Flint's 29 is Bill Rolland's re-do of the Tommy Ivo 25 T. 075-2015-la-roadster-show-1960-show-sunday.jpg

Love the 555 (Triple Nickle Roadster), but I really miss its former trailer that was stolen In Baldwin Park several years ago as I used to be able to haul all my friends or my projects around,(it was lent out when stolen). It got fenders and some wood later in its existence, but I wouldn’t have been able to get my stuff to my places w/o it. Carry on ;).

It’s not finished yet and I don’t own it but I think this one will be when finished.

I like this '33 Dodge front end way better than '34 Ford. Larger body looks better, too.

[IMG]X 2, RJP I feel the same way, I'm a hundred percent with ya.
I grew up in the country with with gravel roads. Up the street was a car guy who built these from midgets to Indy roadsters. This was in the mid 1940's. He and his compatriots would do test and tune on those gravel roads. It was so damned cool, and set my idea of open wheel cars as being the only way to go.

    Hello,

In staying with the HAMB traditional rules and regulations, here is an “iconic” roadster that we all know.

For all of you 32 Ford folks out there, my ride in in Jack Stewart’s 1932 red Ford Roadster was the most intimidating. I knew it was well built, pristine and valuable. When offered to drive the roadster, I declined. I did not want to damage or be responsible for any extensive damages to that pristine car, just in case. It was an honor to just be sitting in the roadster going down the road.

Plus, I needed to concentrate, so I needed to remember anything Jack told me on our drive about hot rods or photography. This was a once in a lifetime source of information for me. No digital or phone recorders back then. So, many years later, that pristine 32 Ford roadster is very high dollar, if any price can be put on that roadster. To me, that was the most expensive hot rod I ever rode in or was offered to drive.

Jack Stewart, the look that I remember him… from the “way back machine.”

They all include influences of many different iterations of kool roadsters.

This was the first "Hot rod " I have ever seen IRL.. (in 71/73) built by Jan Lanemo a cardealer in Linköping, Sweden. At a local small drugstore I was blown away and that set my car interest for the rest of my life. But, today this is a really nice original Blue Convertible..?!

@Cyclone Kevin would you consider running a T350, in order to overcome the sluggishness of a 2 speed 'glide?

I don't know who acquired the Dick Williams' '27 after Blackie died, but I hope he restores it to its '53 AMBR form -- baby blue paint, skinnier tires and chrome wheels with '50 Merc caps.

  29. I understand the restoration to its 53 look has already been started.
