Technical Clutch Pedal Hitting Frame

    Whats the best way to modify the crossmember to get pedal clearance? Its a 47 Ford sedan with a widened x member center section.

    You modify the pedal not the crossmember. Bend left, cut off pad mount and weld it back on to the other side. Done. Is the brake pedal going to hit the clutch slave cylinder?

    I would do it the exact way that bad shifter recommends. Why over complicate things, plus, you can remove the pedal and do all the modifications on the workbench.
