I believe that car belongs to the Dixon Bros. of Windsor. This 57 I believe is one theirs recently. img256.jpg img257.jpg

Super cool. Assuming you recognize most of the cars in the pics I’ve posted from Mission. Have lots more to post up. Scuderia was one of the best looking dragsters ever to be built in my opinion!

Still haven't dug out my pics but I have a related question. I went to elementary school with a kid whose last name was Andrioni. His dad ran a couple of Baracudas. Had th early one and then bought another in '68 or so. The kid came to school one day with some crutches and a heck of a bandage on his leg, said he was by the starting line when a clutch blew on one of the cars and he got souvenir shrapnel! So does anyone remember a 'Cuda racing guy by the name of Andrioni?

Must have been right in front of the old Finning tractor buildings. I wonder which direction he went. Heading west there is a slight curve towards Main St. and heading east there is a fairly steep uphill approach to Clark, and a dead end.

My humble contribution. Ken Boleen's Tbird that he raced way back in the early 60's in BC. He is 88 years young and still has the car, still drives it when he can. When raced it had a 354 Hemi in it. Now running a 302 and auto. He drove it out here to Saskatchewan a couple of years ago on a cross country tour to benefit MS. If I remember correctly he is a founding member of the BCRA. I am proud to call him my friend.
