I got the grill in place, talk about a pain, I guess I'm still used to having parts kind of fall into place on newer cars and I need to put a hood latch and fender braces in but are these cars going to be a little cockeyed no matter what. I have the whole thing sitting about an inch to the drivers side. IMG_20200921_142031796_HDR.jpeg IMG_20200921_142932418.jpeg

Amazing how much money a couple of hours on the internet will save you. $60 and an afternoon crawling in the junkyard disc brake conversion IMG_20201008_172528292.jpeg

Quite literally bolted in like it was made for it. The only issue that I ran into was the caliper rubber against the leaf spring. I was planning on lowering the back anyways IMG_20201009_141937567.jpeg IMG_20201009_141256669.jpeg

Not sure how these panels are supposed to look. Do they attach to the flange on the wheel well? IMG_20201014_163909088.jpeg IMG_20201014_163332830.jpeg

On my 47 Linc they are attached to the pillar post, and under the window garnish. They might have had a attachment at the back on that brace, but if they did, it wasn't put on my recovered panels. The bottoms were free, no attachment.

Thinking I'll have to move the front arm rest ahead about 5"-6" to clear the seat.

Had the wife come out and take a look. I think she's finally seeing what I'm seeing. IMG_20201019_123109710_HDR.jpeg IMG_20201019_123047421_HDR.jpeg

Maybe lower on the passenger side. How tall is your wife? I mounted the seats low in my car to account for the chopped top but both my mom and my mother in law had their eye level with the dashboard,

Got a matching rear armrest in last night, because we have to get our mail at 6:00 when we live less than a mile from the main hub, cleaned them up and painted them. I used that SEM paint on the ash tray covers hope that holds. IMG_20201020_145705863.jpeg IMG_20201020_163432162.jpeg

Messing with getting the dip stick around to steering box boy what a pain all around. I think I might have kinked a little towards the bottom and now it stops about %80 of the way. And I really think Ford designed it be a punishment putting it together barely get a wrench around it maybe get an 1/8 of a turn each time. IMG_20201114_131453067.jpeg IMG_20201114_131155893.jpeg
