    Howdy all,,

I'm looking for information about a 32 Dodge. I've searched the forums and couldn't find what I was looking for.

I need a hood (and other parts) for a 32 Dodge 4 door sedan. Im building a traditional looking family hauler. I've done three 33-34 plymouths and I know the hoods of the 33-34 dodge and plymouth are the same depending on wheelbase.

My question is, are the hoods on the 32 dodge and the 32 plymouth the same. Rootlieb makes a hood for the plymouth but they're not sure about the Dodge. I'd much rather have a black, original one, but beggars can't be choosers.

    Thanks for any help.

  2. Post some pics of your Dodge. There are some Mopar guys on here.
The '32 Plymouth PB has large vent doors at the rear edge of the hood tops. The PA, like my avatar, is a totally different car....

    Yeah, you're right. Thanks, though.
    Any suggestions?

  6. ^^^^^ The coupe you posted is a 1932 Plymouth PB, the 1932 Plymouth PA has a different cowl, it looks similar but as I recall the hood has a slight cut out where it attaches to the radiator shell. HRP

This is a 1932 PA. HRP

  7. You might post a wanted ad in the classifieds but be forewarned scammer watch this site, if they want you to pay for a hood with gift cars and say they don't have paypal avoid them like the plague, don't let your enthusiasm of finding what you want bite you in the arse.

    Also check out Hemmings. HRP

  8. Measure across your cowl at the beltline ....I can measure my PA and see if they are close. I doubt finding a Plymouth hood is any easier tho. Many of the cars from this era are similar...I am using a '32 Chevy hood top on my Plymouth.

Have you found any info on your hood? Curious to see how the project is going. I’ve got a 32 Dodge Brothers myself and am trying to decide how I want to build it
