Hot Rods I am in need of a distributer cap strap

    Not sure what model distributer uses the same as my Davco Magneto.

    I was hoping Flathead Ford but haven't seen the right one yet.

    Years ago, I bought an old, dual point, Accel distributor that was missing both of the cap hold-down straps. Wrote a letter to Accel inquiring about availability, and they sent me some new straps, the brackets they attach to, and the fasteners, ALL FOR FREE!!! Mallory also use similar hold-down straps, as does the old dual point Chevrolet V-8 distributors (the ones BEFORE the access window). I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

    Looks like a Delco distributor from the early to mid 30's would work for you.
    I recently swapped one from a Buick distributor to a Packard one.
