Some take life as it comes while others get out and make the life they want. Thanks Jim for including us in your adventure and the help you also always graciously extend to others.

the thing about a LeMons Rally is that if you haul your crappy car in the last day on a trailer, you'll get bonus points, and probably win.

Don't know yet, but something might show up in the mail. We'll see. Past years has been a trophy made of broken car parts.

Someone needs to buy up all of your old race cars and start a Lemons museum in an old wrecking yard there in sunny Az. I see glass cases with wasted axle bearings, broken 3 speeds, rotted gaskets. Running videos of the Wedgie spinning in the snow. Maybe an interactive display where kids can play in a Corvair. What a tourist attraction.

lmao....still only one inquiry about the car. It's fun to point and laugh at, but not easy to find anyone who actually wants it :)

and I have an interview scheduled with jalopnik about it.

    Sell it to Jason Torchinski.

To David Tracy for a cross country adventure series on Jalopnik.

    Jim,

You probably have the most famous car that nobody wants! Lol.:rolleyes::)

Maybe the exposure by/with jalopnik will be the just the ticket to get it to a new owner.

Reminds me of something from "Battlebots". Might be good to promote the show.

Wouldn't buying it be like marrying Marilyn after Leo was done with her? Squirrel, you should read the comments on Barnfinds. Those guys want to restomod everything.

  17. More like after anybody did Phyllis Diller, Marilyn was a looker, this car not so much.

I was thinking along similar lines - Robot Wars (which I guess is the same). Show promotion, or maybe just an avid fan?

Zip tie moment when wheel bearing issue happened would be cooler.

I'm only 45 miles from Paynesville. I coulda helped, except I was in Indianapolis picking up a '27 Model T when you broke down. Glad you made it home. I laff when I see that ridiculous car!

It's pretty funny looking. I drove through Buffalo.

Anyways, I sold the car to a lady that runs an old motor court in Tucson. It will be on display at the El Pais Motel, on old Benson Highway. She has several old travel trailers there, as well. It's a good home for the funny little car. And her daughter really loves it (she has a 61 Corvair also).

That he could! I think he could sell a ketchup popsicle to a supermodel in a white dress.

You don't have to be a salesman, when the product sells itself...you just need to wait until the right person finds it. I did my best to tell her what a piece of crap it is, and she bought it anyways.

  28. It will make a great prop in front of their business. May never see road miles again.

However, it does have winning provenance!
