SMALL world. This week-end, I met the man who now OWNS the Stark roadster that is shown in the pics !
Sold him a Winfield carb to run the roadster as Stark ran it when racing at Muroc.
Present owner HAS located the original parts to restore Starks roadster. Talk persistence.... this guy has it in spades !! His journey has involved some famous old guys, who ended up with important parts of Starks car, such as engine, etc. Quite a story.
I suggested he do a write up of his story. It would be a good read.
