I doubt it's photoshopped, but it is a modern pic. There's a modern lockbox on the door in the background.

 

Yeah, it's too bad this thread has a couple handfuls of modern photos that people think if they photoshop them black and white it makes them traditional photos. Some of them are cool builds, but that doesn't make them traditional photos.

If you can't tell that is a modern photo of a line of modern builds in the traditional style shopped to black and white, I have a deuce coupe to sell you for $200K that I swear was built in 1940 and not touched since then. Just give me a few months to buy and put together a Brooksville body, TCI chassis, crate 350 Chevy, and all the other modern cliche b.s.

They are traditional photos, just not vintage photos. I can't see that it makes a bit of difference if a few pictures are not 50 years old.

 

It's just a photo thread, not tragedy on a cosmic scale. The thread title actually says "traditional images" which could be interpreted to be photos taken in the traditional style, not necessarily taken long ago. I don't personally think an outlier photo that crops up once in a while ruins the whole thing. We've all been inside too long.

 

You've been doing a fine job with the period photos, so keep it up.

You're the only person who has said anything about the thread being ruined, a tragedy on cosmic scale, or anything remotely that hyperbolic. A couple people pointed out a photo isn't period, and I said "it's too bad this thread has a couple handfuls of modern photos" in relationship to the period photos--far from saying the thread is ruined. Anyone who has looked through the entire thread can easily see 98% of the photos are period photos. It's obviously a thread that has evolved to be dedicated to period photos of traditional cars no matter how the title is worded.

Now can we get back to the period photos of traditional cars?
