What are those rear tires? I see "Trans Rib LT". I'm looking for an alternative to coker Firestones.

  5. Lots of potential in the T. Changes you have made so far looking good. Cut those tabs off the radiator sides. Also need to lose the front turn signal lights, change to something less size and more hidden.

Why tape the stanchions and windshield off instead of removing them? Seems like it would be more time in taping them off.

Love the wheel fade and color choice. Can't wait to see more.

My first thought was you should have walked right on by that ugly ass T, but I’m glad you didn’t. You definitely had a vision that most would not have seen.

    Nice work, -Abone.

  20. Looks great! Can't wait to see this one finished. I am curious, did you prime before painting? I'm going to paint the body on my T in the near future (black), and was just planning on scuffing and cleaning the existing finish then spraying the finish coat. (Polyurethane fiberglass boat paint)...

With this said, I'd probably feel okay using something similar to his font for the name of the car, since it's a tribute to his style, but not use Ed's name on the car.

I know the family is very particular in licensing his name and artwork. Both of which are legally protected.

You run a used car lot, or are you getting it ready for a Barret Jackson auction?

    Hello,

Great work on your T-Bucket, so far. The above photo (ON THE LEFT) looks so much better than sticking in someone's name on the small panel. If the final outcome is a Roth style paint and design. Great. If someone happens to say that it looks like a Roth design, you know you designed and painted it, so kudos to you. But, to put on someone's name just does your build nothing.

People will then get the idea that your design and build is a copycat and not a "one of" build. IMHO. It seems like every design and build of a T-bucket has a certain look. But it is in the details that will make your build stand out.

Your 57 Nomad is one fine station wagon. It has the basic structure and color palette for a nice scallop job. But, would you paint Larry Watson on the door? What for? YRMV

I would remove that name. Ed Roth has an estate, and his name is a registered trademark. Don't learn this lesson the hard way.

Build your car. Don't try to pretend that it was built by someone else. Show the world what YOU can do.
