The planned double sweep gas filler tube will probably give you fits to fill up tank.
I did a similar deal, and have to pump slow to avoid splashback, which sucks:(

You bet....it does. Just a slow hand with an easy touch....no
Since I didn't in the build want to do any body work as planned....some idiot had drilled a power antenna hole that I expanded for fill neck and cap. Yep it sucks.

What sucks even more is when stations insist to piping loud obnoxious music or adds out of a pump when your trying to listen for fuel coming back up the filler.
I`ve walked inside, and asked if it could be turned off at the pump? no they say. I say then you lost my business

The ones that I have bought gas from have a mute button to turn that crap off. I'm finding some stores are playing music outside the store, which I find very annoying, especially when it's something I don't want to listen to. I stopped using a local car wash for that reason.

Isn't it amazing how much crap is pushed on us. I just drove 2217 miles round trip to a friend's birthday...no radio, no blue tooth, just the sing of the diesel pulling my 32 and the thumps in the road. Wonderful solitude, and no f.....g politics.

Agree there! I probably haven't had the radio on in my daily more than an hour in the last 10 years!

    Beautifully executed hot rod!

    Somebody said...
    "Nice street rod."
I wouldn't likely call your car a street rod.
    But you could definitely say...
That's one high-end home-built hot rod. A beautiful culmination of exceptional components and execution.
    Untold hours of HARD work.

It's "German" square weave. Several sources...Gahh for one. Running yard 36" x 71" wide. Good stuff. Easy to work. Super durable.

It does. Have found all filler nozzles different with all having different sweet spots. That's ok. Plenty of time to kill wii SS and Medicare having my back.

Thanks. Color has been a hellian to match. I bought the car already paint way back in '77. Liked it and have worn my sphincter mussel out working around it. Whew...never again.
