I mostly like t-shirts the way they used to be... with nothin' on 'em.
But I would definitely wear a Malacarne Garage T-shirt.
    Just because.
Tell people it's from my friend Gui's shop in Brazil. :)

You don’t need to understand them to see everyone was having a good time, both drivers and the spectators.
I noticed a few hot rods in there and wish we could have seen more of the ‘32 that was briefly in the video.
    Thanks for posting that @ClayMart

That nice long black body screams out for some "Gold Leaf" lettering

    Hola Gui.

The LEVIATHAN is looking magnificent !

I am anxious to see the black lettering of the " SEAGRAVE " on the cylinder heads.

When the results of the big race are posted and all of this project is totally complete, I will read back through all of this "build thread " and compose a proper poem that reflects all of the fascinating elements, that brought all of these parts together, via your unmatched skills of metal working and craftsmanship!

Be safe, be fast and be first across the finish line in the big race!

Black beauty for sure. Love it.

It's beautiful Gui, and authentic to the period, nothing looks out of place. And I agree with @loudbang some tasteful gold leaf would really set it off even more.

    Gui,
Did you ever think of a fabric covered body from the cowl back?
I know it would be very Bentley looking like that, just an idea. Your vehicle is over the top!

Very impressive. I do agree with "loudbang" that the body could use some embellishment (Gold Leaf like he suggested or at least some kind of lettering or period logos). That body is too long, too black, and too plain now.

In response to " Loudbang " and the element of embellishment for Gui's creation, the " LEVIATHAN ".
Let me add a couple of observations.

On the element of " that body is too long, too black and too plain " Yes, I do get that and to a very limited degree, I would normally agree with that statement.

But I would also add that I am sure Gui, has taken all of that into consideration, and to my eye and considering all that went into this build, I would suggest that is exactly what Gui had in mind !

To be " too long, too black and too plain looking ".

When you get right down to it, imagine what's in the minds of the other drivers in the upcoming race, as they compete against Gui in his automobile. The " LEVIATHAN " looks like a lot of vintage racers from that time period that is reflected in how Gui built it. But in reality, underneath all of that exquisite metal forming, is a vintage SEAGRAVE V-12 flathead engine in a 1926 Buick chassis, and the body is a true "mystery " as its a total new creation built to look like a racer from long ago.

What Gui has constructed is a very cool, original, hybrid, thoroughbred, that you can't take your eyes off of, and the black paint, just makes it all that much more of a " mystery ".

The " LEVIATHAN " has subtle quality's like the "12 " on the hubcaps. When it comes to any further embellishment for Gui's creation, I would suggest a thin red line along both sides of the hood that has the classic arrow style at the front with the options to put tail feathers on the end or not to put tail feathers on the end, either way, its truly something unique, that you don't see on vintage racers these days. It also gives the eye something to look at, that will raise a smile, as the brain of the observer, gets the idea that this machine is moving forward ! This traditional " JUMANO " Indian arrow is a classic example of what I am talking about, and this is purely a suggestion, nothing more.
    wooden arrow (2).jpg
So yes, the " LEVIATHAN " is screaming as a fresh, blank, black canvas to have a lot of gold leaf embellishment ! No doubt there will be countless others that wish to see the " LEVIATHAN " decorated with vintage logo's and numbers etc, etc, etc . Even the traditional " JUMANO " Indian arrow may be a bit too over the top as embellishment, but I think that, all that are reading this, will have to agree, that its a distinct possibility, that is intriguing.

I will leave it all up to the master metal craftsman " Gui " to decide, till then, as it appears in these recent photo's, the " LEVIATHAN " is perfect, as is. IMHO.

    Dennis.

I was hoping a big number with silver and red might show up on the rear tail in front of the louvers before the race.

I see the " LEVIATHAN " as a pre-World Wat II custom. No need to add "design elements" to it's pure simplicity.

All that long body needs is a simple race number on the side. Something like 3.141592653589793238462

You have the gift with the art of expression!
I liked the Jumano Arrow idea! I’ll think about!

The firing order is almost that long.

    Edit:
    Actually, it's longer. LOL

A 'built' race car like this would have been the purview of a rich gentleman.
I'd guess that most were not all fancied up.
    https://www.firstsuperspeedway.com/photo-gallery/category/91
This shows that most had a number on the sides and front only, most in a contrasting color for visibility.
I will say I did find one that did have gold leaf, though
    https://forum.studebakerdriversclub...an-of-the-Day-11-04-1927-Duesenberg-race-car=

and there were some that had a bunch of stuff all over.
    https://silodrome.com/hudson-super-six-racing-car/

I sure have no sway in the matter, but I like it solid as pictured.

Just curious Gui, what do you call your V-12 Seagrave creation? I ask because I just don't let others name my rides.
