Very nice. Just shows how a few tasteful yet subtle changes can really improve the looks when done correctly.

Since the only external difference is the side trim why does it matter? I can put Bel Air trim on my 210 if it makes you happy. You don't think all Bel Airs are hardtop, do you?

It don't matter to me. The title of the thread said Bel Air I thought maybe it mattered to the op but I guess not.

It took me awhile but I did figure that out. Btw I like your car. Please don't put bel air trim on it the 210 model looks better to me. I have a 54 210 sedan hot rod not custom but I like them all.

Looks great! The height in the rear would drive me crazy, though! But I'll bet yours rides like a new Cadillac compared to mine with 4" blocks Awful to ride in but looks cooler to me

These are pesco 280 hydraulic pumps. Straight out of aircraft back in the day. These were a fad in the late 50s early 60s. But after that company's started producing hydraulics purposely for Lowriders. If I get a 54 these bad boys are going straight in the trunk 1985-buick-regal-chrome-hydraulic-setup.jpeg

  19. That’s Bill Hoffman’s car. I’ve never seen these pictures of it. These are from the later years when it had the seaweed flames.
If you look close, it’s a sedan with no B pillars. The rear side glass slid in and out, so they were removable but didn’t roll down. I absolutely love this idea.
I have a ‘54 club coupe that I bought in 1992. It’s going under the knife this winter. The plan is to do a Cole Foster type chop with a ‘49 Dodge backlight and the sedan to hardtop conversion, among other things. IMG_8022.JPG
