  4. Could talk about my Studie but should give a shout out for my Val gal - here with her first hubcap change to those rare spinners from about 1977. Funny thing is I kept stopping by for years asking if he would sell it - as she sat on all four flats and I finally got the call - he wanted to know if I could come help move it as it was in the way of a re-pavement job. I grabbed my money - thru a tow bar in o'blue (behind it) and loaded up a change of tires....and he went for the deal. One on my keeper list.... my Val with spinners.jpg

Reading some of the other posts,
I should have added that my Dad owned the truck for 20 years before I got ahold of it. So I guess that makes it 54 years in our family....

  12. As I said in the last post, Ive had the Centre Door "T" since 1978, 42years, three rebuilds and lots of fun, in both the builds and the driving.

This is how it was when I shipped it over to the UK from Kitchener Canada. I bought it at the 1978 Ohio Nationals.

The Pop next to the "T" is my friends and he has had that as long as I have had the "T"

I am the second owner of my '63 Impala, bought in September of 1984. I've owned it for 36 years. Originally a 327, Powerglide car, driven by me in that configuration for 25 years. It's now a 425hp 409, 4 speed car.

My '52 Ford F1 Pick Up, bought in August of 1989. I've owned it for 31 years.

All of my other machines are short timers, owned 20 years or less.

  24. At first I owned this 32 coupe about 13 years, then sold it. Regretted it BIG time, tracked it back down years later and bought it back. Now I have owned it a total of over 20 years...with a break in between..:)
Pardon the first pic, its a photo of a color slide and its warped.
