I have a frame near Las Vegas..cheap unless you stab a diesel in there... And it needs work but not like yours...also have 51 f1 axles
It's amazing how much work and welding someone did to that poor truck for such a poor result. I used the same suspension under my '50 Studebaker truck but with a Gibbon crossmember kit. Again, a lot of work and I hated how it drove. It took a lot of tweaking to get it to drive half way decent. I shoulda left it stock. As some have said, if you can find a rolling chassis you'll be way ahead. The stock front end is fine when rebuilt and aligned correctly. It has cross steering that can be upgraded easily to a modern steering box (Pete & Jakes has the adapter bracket). IFS discussion is a no-no here.
