'28-'29 with the stock radiator shell. The larger '30-'31 shell stands out as compared to the earlier model. P1050977.jpeg

I am partial to the '30/'31's with '28/'29 fenders!

I could never quite put my finger on why I don't like '28-29 coupes, but this pretty much nails it. Also, the beltline ribbing is a lot less refined looking to my eye. The '28-9 roadsters are cool, but I'd still rather have a '30-31.

I have grown to love Model A's I'm not a fan of the big stainless 30/31 grill shells. I used a steel truck grill shell and painted it body color. Has anyone ever used a 28/29 grill and radiator on a later 30/31 body? Gary speedway1.jpg speedway3.jpg

In total agreement with ya, Danny. If I dredged up a '30-'31 closed car, I would buy one of those filler panels made by FLOP to make the front of the top more like a Deuce. I really like the looks of that panel.

Im a 30-31 guy... Body lines are better, cowl is very finished looking, tall radiator shell just looks real nice.. But thats me... The proportions of a 30-31 are better I think, sedans for sure, coupes are ok in 28-29 just not my favorite... Here is the 29 coupe I had for a bit, unrestored survivor... IMG_0251.JPG

    My current build...
    31 tudor

I love em all, but 30-31 holds my heart I guess....

28-29. Graceful lines and that forward sweeping curve at the bottom of the cowl post makes my heart beat faster.

I’m more partially to the earlier ones but I’ve seen very cool 30/31s like the one below

Don't have a picture but Danny Brent's chopped Red 28/29 sedan does it for me. But I've also built a lot of 32 highboy chassis for 30/31 Fords.
