I bought these "like-new" Sanderson headers at an estate sale without knowing exactly what they fit. I have spent a least an hour on Sanderson's website trying to figure out what they fit but am having no luck. The closest likeness I found was 351 Ford Cleveland but even those were not exactly like these. To me the distinguishing feature is the 8 flange-bolt holes all in a row. I am hoping a HAMB member can help me ID theses things! Thanks Sanderson headers (1).JPG Sanderson headers (2).JPG Sanderson headers (3).JPG Sanderson headers (4).JPG Sanderson headers (5).JPG

If they're not SBF(289,302,351W),then their BBF 429-460.The gaskets make me think 429-460.

  5. What is the number stamped in those exhaust gaskets? Is their a brand name?

  6. My Sanderson Desotos have a code engraved on the head side of the flange.

I will peel off the gasket and see if there are any numbers on the flange. Thanks for all the help everyone!

Phil, I already thought of that but I cannot read the numbers.

  10. Can you use the old detective trick and put a paper over the numbers and the side of pencil lead to make a better image of the gasket numbers?
