History 1954 Hudson Molta Casta for sale

I saw this Craigslist ad today. Been posted for over 2 weeks but this is first time I saw it. Is this a “famous” car? Anyone familiar with this custom? Has it been discussed before? I’m not interested in buying it, just curious about the car. Thanks.

No help with the cars history, looks like a well done custom, not sure of the asking price but definitely worth saving !


Never heard of it but Molta Casta in Italian means “ very chaste”

not a name I would want to be associated with

I'm not Italian but sale ad says the Molta Casta translates to Very Clean.

 

If the pedigree and documentation is true, then the asking price is far below the cars value. It was done as a new car, it only has 56,000 miles, top of the line 6cyl, and a very tasteful custom treatment that looks like it was handled by true craftsmen. 20k for a future Pebble Beach winner is a steal. Color should be restored to the original version.

 

Why does the add say 8 cylinders?

 

I don’t know anything about it but I would drive the hell out of it!
