There’s going to be an auction this weekend in Kansas that has 140 old cars including 20 ‘32s! It’s the Vanderbrink auction company.

  3. WOW! What a treasure trove. Why do people feel that when they make a video it must include ear-splitting music?! I know, I have a mute button. Still, I don't understand as it adds nothing to the video.....Sorry, rant over.:)

Probably everything in that sale is out of my budget. But, if I could, I would go after the 53 Buick Skylark Convertible. 53 Buicks of any body style are among my favorite cars.

Now ! is the time to Buy If you want a 32, IMO they have become very reasonable, again IMO you can buy a nice 32 for the price of the parts, (most likely less), painted, polished, SS, chrome, upholstery, Ready to Rock ! No more excuses of overpriced/etc. This has been going on for a while with All our old cars, last year I was at Barrett Jackson, just looking, not buying and saw a beautiful 32 Roadster, all the right parts/pieces/black, a really nice piece, went for 25 K + the BJ markup which I believe is 8%. At Goodguys in march scottsdale 32 roadster, again a real nice piece, in conversion with seller he would have taken 20 K, He said I do not want to take it home, he sold it to the man that talked to him after me, I was standing there. I passed as I've had a Roadster and a 32, but I always look at them, just like them, so far No brain fart and bought another car I don't need as I'm trying to reduce inventory, but When and If I sell my Merc another car could happen, I doubt it, but life has taught me, Never say Never. It's done when your ashes are cold or the last shovel of dirt is cast over you.

Man, I bet there’s going to be a decent deal out there. 140 cars. That’s a big auction.

Boneyard51, Thanks ! I Looked through the catalog, I found a classic car gem that tickles me, going to watch/follow, just might register and see where it goes, I am going to sleep on idea of another project as I have said to self, no more, Do I really want another project ? Footnote, I did think it over and slept on idea and No more project cars for me, still finishing my last project, family Midget racer.

Sure wish it was closer and no Covid going on--I see a few that peak my interest. Also with my 40 gone I'm looking for another project. I've never attempted anything but a bunch of 40's but there are other things that I might take a crack at. Never tried a 32 but did a few 36's.
