    @Speed Gems...Cool Thread...I'm aware of Superchargers and Blowers and saw earlier mention of 671's, GMC and some others perhaps not being but maybe they are...Are Blowers Superchargers?...I haven't went thru the whole thread but will and look forward to it...saw a bit already...;)...as hey not only do they Mak'em Go Faster, They Look Awesome as well...

    I will add them as I find them and thanks for the Heads Up...;)

    I think "Blower" is just a slang term as i've heard both types referred to as superchargers.

    I had one pic on my mind went and looked and it was just carburetor on manifold, I was all excited and nadda, I'll find one...:D

  23. I believe "blower" is used as these roots (and centrifugal) type devices were actually used to pressurise aircraft cabins. In that application, they just blow air. Hence the name.
