Hot Rods 40 Ford car E brake handle mounting help

    Trying to use the 40 handle in a car with replaced cowl and floors, looks like one end bolts at top of dash and the other bolts up against the horizontal part of the cowl which doesn't seem right and E handle.jpg

    would make a sharp bend in the cable. Anyone have pics or a drawing of the dash? Am I missing brackets? Thanks

    You have the whole handle--top end bolts up under dash-other part bolt to two hole sin the angled part of the firewall-cable goes thru round hole-done many

    This is a pic from this site of a 40 PU, very different with a smooth transition thru the firewall that my made me question, along with the need to match up to my new metal my install. Now I've got to move the fusebox...
