  1. Traded for this ol gal today. Supposedly runs and drives however it doesn't like to stop. FE under the hood but not sure if 360 or 390. Comes with new (used) quarter panels too.
Whose got one and please share inspiration pictures. Thinking about a street/strip setup. 20201017_181152.jpeg 20201017_181203.jpeg 20201017_181330.jpeg

Neat cars, congrats. Hard to mess them up, they make great customs, hot rods or stockers. I want one.

I don't know my Rancheros very well, is that a '56 or '57?

'57. First year made. The Ford Ranchero is a Pickup /coupe utility that was produced by Ford between 1957 and 1979

0e3d6c56ab222cf092dbea72b90ba2d3.jpg I must have been mixing it up with the Fairlane Ranchero in '56, body moldings are way different now that I look at both years... as mentioned earlier a mild custom would be sweet

  18. No 56 Rancheros..just 57 and later.
When I see a Ranchero, I see a custom. They make the best customs to me. 54 Chevy grille, 56 F100 head light rings on frenched headlights, frenched tailights....nice...

I see a great start, make it safe and drive it. Look at different sites to get ideas of what you like and Go For It!

Potential rust bucket - strip to bare metal - remove floor panel in bed - pull seat & carpet - add power brakes & steering

  24. Yeah I'm sure it has more than I can see. It comes with the new/used quarters as both sides are rusty. I'll take more pictures when I bring it home.

Ford blue blood, I really like the way you frenched the headlights on yours. Takes away that bug eyed look the 57’s have.

Really cool project. I can see a custom but for me personally I see a “gasser” style project. Straight axle, no front bumper, FE motor, stick and a teardrop scoop.
