Lucky me I got a leave pass to stop work on the kitchen reno’s for a little while . Up the road a bit to dig around behind this barn. This place is where “the man from snowy river” died in 1895 ( if you haven’t seen the movie you’ll have to google it) barn pick first , back shortly with more.
Ok behind the barn was the first local (and small) car show in the longest time. Only a few cars of interest for here. So here you go .
Quite a decent gathering there . Very nice. Even the white Leyland P76 ( between the two red cars ) looks at home between all the other cars . I remember when they were in the showrooms. Leyland dealers had free puke buckets .
You've probably heard all the jokes about them, like calling them a P38 cos they were only half the car they were supposed to be. But you could carry a 44 gallon drum in the trunk. You'd need to be pretty strong to lift a full one in and out. Well spotted @34 GAZ
