History Mystery Bumper - Help

    Ok. This rear bumper is older than I am and the local street rodders' I've talked to aren't positive on what this make/model this might belong to. Internet searches of pictures of cars from the 1940's aren't bringing up an exact match either.

    It came with a bunch of parts that I purchased years ago for my 48 Ford ragtop. Obviously it is not from Ford for that era. Think it might be a Packard but again can't find exacts. It measures 62.5" from tip to tip. Any thoughts from the knowledgeable crowd on the HAMB is greatly appreciated. If I wasn't already running 49 Plymouth bumpers on my 48, it could work with bolt hole modifications. Including a couple of pics. Thx, Eric
