Your ac doesn’t hit the heater? I have been test fitting older evaporators and a lot of them have to come forward quite a ways because the back of the squirrel cage fan hits the heater.

I removed the entire original heater setup before I installed the new unit

finally ran the numbers on the block, 64-7 283 but still running early stagger bolt heads. Haven’t popped off a valve cover to see exactly what they are but the do have a rectangle cast in the ends of the heads and that appears to be a stock, low compression head.

I really should not have to keep repeating this. Please please please refrain from posting cars with modern billet wheels

Saw that ^^^56 Convertible"^^^ also; 12 bids and it's at $3850.00. If it's NOT a scam, then it's only for parts, such as the top framework, or the title if it even has one. I really can't see anyone starting out with such a wreck, but there are some really talented restorers out there, and here on the HAMB. I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

If it has a title then everything else can be bought but $3k plus is a little much for just a title! I have a cowl, title and frame for just a project but I certainly didn’t pay $3k for it.
