Brookville could easily use their roadster cowl and doors, and the rear bustle from the phantom, and a bit more slice and dice to create an authentic looking 32 pheaton.

  3. There was a article one HOTROD.COM about Brookville Roadster's thinking about adding the phaeton to their line up.

Brookville Roadsters were testing the waters for the possibility of adding a phaeton to their line of reproduction bodies. This work-in-progress by metal masters John and Tom Carambia out of Hemet, CA. was displayed in Brookville's exhibit at the 2012 LA Roadsters Father's Day show at the Fairplex in Pomona, but obviously there wasn't enough interest to put the body into production.

This is the body that was on display. HRP

I imagine Broovkilles decision to not pursue the 4 door phaeton body was economics. The country was in a manufacturing slowdown about that time and many of the bigger spenders were tightening their wallets. I wish I could find my pictures of the side and front profiles of the 4 door tub I took at the LARS

The phaeton they should have built is a lot more attractive than the one they did build

  13. It's the Aussie style. I seem to remember that is the car's origin and it was converted to RHD.
