Event Coverage Boerne Texas hot rod event

Does anyone know if this event will happen this year? It's usually the 2nd week of october.Thanks in advance,Webb.

I called a phone number listed but it said mailbox full.I'll post if any new info.a
Just found a good number and the city of Boerne will allow this to happen with all the social requirments ie: masks distance etc.For anyone traveling to Boerne,check with hotels for info.This year dates are October 9-10-11.
With all the other fears thought this was good to hear.

 

Yeah , it happened. 575 miles for me round trip.

On last weekend. A friend from Australia who lives most of the year in Texas posted a lot of photos on his FB page. I will see if I can get them and add here.

And an interesting last one. That is Les with Tom Prufer.
Think a lot of us read about Tom Prufer when he drove front engined dragsters and built cars in California in the ‘60’s. He’s now a Texas resident and I got to take a seat in his latest ride today. He’s 85 and still doin it.

This makes me want to move to Texas !
Don’t let my wife hear that she’s from there.

This is the way it should be and brings back early memories of the NSRA when it was pre 48 as originally intended.
