I got a axle here that i like to let somebody drop it to go in my 46 fordor.
It measures 50 3/4 kingpin to kingpin and 41 perch to perch i checked sid’s site and it looks like a 46-48 axle but this one got a extra hole that is not on my original axle.
What do i got here ?

48 Ford. The second hole is for tube shocks. Those axles are pretty long so watch your track width.

Track width is the same as my 46 , it will be slightly smaller after dropping the axle.
I want to send this one off to get it dropped and swap the axle when finished so i can just drive in the meantime

I don’t really know how it will affect the strength of the axle but I imagine the “extra hole” will be significantly distorted and probably not ver attractive. If you drop it I would consider plugging and filling it once it’s done.

I wouldn't drop that one simply because of the shock mount holes. Unless you are having it dropped in Europe somewhere close by It would probably be more productive just to order the correct axle already dropped from Sids and pay the core charge that will probably be less than shipping yours to the states.
