Looking snazzy!.. appears you’re making good time on the build too.

I started off pretty fast but I’ve been super busy lately so I haven’t got to put much time into it. It should be ready soon though.

  5. Looks great, love the paint & patina as well as the basic bare bones hotrod build style.

I got the seat frame built and have started cutting/shaping some foam to soon be covered in leather. Mocked an old windshield up, got the wood cut for the floorboards. The Moonshine Festival is fast approaching, got to get it finished! [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

The roadster is on the road! I ended up ordering a simple wiring harness from Rocket just for safety and speed of installation, most of the wiring is hidden anyway so it doesn’t look weird. I bought some NOS 50’s-60’s seat covers in the box and used one to wrap the seat I made temporarily until I run across some nice old leather. I had a terrible time finding a replacement 39 standard fan mount generator pulley but finally found one in California. The car runs and drives great and I can’t wait to put many miles on it. It’s first outing was yesterday at Tom Hardy’s open house party before the Moonshine Festival and it drew some pretty big attention, Chip Foose, Bryan Fuller, and Cato all drooled over it and asked if I would price it. Get some ebony stain for the plywood.

  11. That seat cover looks perfect with the car’s patina. I’d stick with that! Car looks great, too!

I bought several NOS 50’s-60’s seat covers and stuck that one on there temporarily until I can find some old leather but I do like it so we’ll see

I didn't see this at Moonshine Fest. No way I would have overlooked something this cool. Where the heck was it?

I ended up not being able to make it, too much work to do. I did go to the pre moonshine party at Tom Hardy’s shop
