Looking great, Auliz. I wish I could make repair panels like that. I just don't have the equipment (or skill) though).

    Thanks Gentlemen.
Sorry, that I put here so many pictures. Im not built showcar, but I just like to read articles, follow projects where is very much project pictures. I wrote few years ago some articles to finnish hot rod magazine : V8-magazine. My only demand was that all hot rod atticles I wrote are 6-8pages and all introductions must use 6pc ready car pics and 7-8pc project pictures. I hate to read those introductions where is only shown ready car....
Project backround, history, project stage text and a lot of project pictures.

Drv side is ready. today start pass side. after two weeks one company sodablast body.

I have had bad lucky. 24y old tenant (drugs) didnt pay rent last 8 month. Finland we have so stupid law, You cant push this kind of asshole out. If I do that, I get judgement and big fine. It takes 4-5months to get eviction from court.....
Here everybody get apartment + money for food .... even those who never want to go work, hang a round men from arabic countries,..... I think this is "social hotel" for those assholes. For normal people like me, government just want that I pay 32% tax, no rights if somebody is living free in my apartment, ticket if I drive 10kmh too fast.... When my Oskar son is 16y old, I do not pay any taxes this country, that is sure.

Next problem: my 200 000km driven 2011 Mercedes Benz Turbodiesel 2.2litre C-wagon engine blow out. I have been MB owner nearly all of my life. Good cars, here You must have diesel car if You drive long trip because gasoline is so expensive.... I bought "new" engine from Sweden + all job made my friend (ex pro stock driver/team owner) change it in his car repair company. total 5000euro (engine, parts+job)... Those MO651.911 turbo diesel engines are 100% junk. nearly 50% of those engines are broken if engine has been in MB Sprinter car...... This C-body wagon is lighther body,....

Good things: My new project car and engine projects are in Finland middle of next month!

Saturday - Sunday just take easy.... Lazy builder.
Today too much dayjob (sell bearings to industry and dealers)..... 3hours in garage, this is result:

    1) I cut new sheetmetal piece driverside.
    2) little english wheel rolling before beadroller machine jobs
    3) beadroller. 1st runed upper edge, after that lower.
    4) I note that I have cut wrong,... so I weld 1-2cm more to my panel.
    5) grind welding and fix with englishwheel
    6) englishwheel job with round homemade lower roll
    7) englishwheeljob
    8) now ready for welding. Maybe tomorrow weld it, if customers "don´t push me all the time....

Wednesday I left 1935 pick up cabin to sandblaster.
He was blasted bed, fenders, hoods, grill, runningboards... + painted those.
In the evening I and Oskar son picked up home rest of car. I just wash (streamhipress washer) frame and paint it mattblack. I do not like all what they have done +20y ago, but I do not built this car mechanicly. Only weld and paint.

After 3days break I continue today this project.
Fuel tank outlets, 1/4 ID fuel line made and installed from tank up to firewall.
Same time installed those hoses to carbs.

Tomorrow I continue with brakes. I use ready steel tubes, which I cut and made new end if needed etc.

but I have had a bunch of those truck cabs, by USA standards that is a '36... smooth transition from w/s post to cowl top...
hmmmm…. looks like a climb in rod... I always wanted to use an early A cast running board bracket upside down with a rumble seat step plate to help "hop" in... I did not put a patent on it so it is fair game... go auliz go !

NB. I have this week Friday or next week Monday "Christmas time". My 1932 Roadster project arrive from CA to Finland. Waiting for it... 54y old and still like small boy. Women here in Finland ask many times "Aulis, when You grow up like man?". I answer: "Hopefully never"....... I have some extra stuff in same container: 2 x shortblock (296cid and 239cid flathead), small enginestuff, clutches, 1932 steeringbox, headlights, biasply tires, + small stuff.

1940 hubs arrived in same seacontainer with my roadster project. No studs, no bearings..... Why somebody is sell hubs without bearings and studs.... Now I bought from ebay wheel bearings, seals and snaprings I have on stock. I had many sizes new studs on stock, but not want to lathe those one by one, so I remove 10pc from those adapters I made 5-10y ago (early ford small bolt pattern to early ford big bolt pattern). Too much job with simple things like hubs. Shit.
    AULIS

Also installed coil bracket on engine and generator regulator to the firewall. Put together original generator with 12V field coils. Today I polarize it.

Generator "updated to 12V" and polarized. New 12V relay need to "downdate" to look old junk. SPB 1500 belt is too long, so Friday I ordered from my working place (I work homeoffice and company is located South in Helsinki) SPB 1450 belt. started up oil pressure, installed sparkplugs and small 1-3sec engine fire up. Need to install engine electrics before star engine again. I found hole left side of old edelbrock intake. There has been maybe vacuum outlet etc. need to fix that. Monday I buy new battery and make battery brackets, install battery in to trunk, new 55mm2 cable to starter relay, from there to starter, starter button to dash etc etc.

Now Sunday morning Oskar is still sleep, I go to remove Roadster engine. that engine is converted to 12V and ready for use. Too small for me, but good hot rod engine or original vehicle engine.

Last Monday I drove home this Buick. It arrive to Helsinki (Ro-Ro). I bought it from Denmark. 1965 GranSport is Buick´s first real hi-performance car. I have had last 25y only hot rods and drag race cars, so maybe next summer also this early mucslecar has been used on the road. Heads, intake, carb has made Gessler well known name in headporting and Buick owners. Matching numbers 401cid nailhead, automatic, rear end.
OK, engine has blueprinted, good converter, manual valvebody, eaton differential, 4.1 R&P... but still original.
12.71sec 1/4mile, Im gonna register it like historical vehicle. My friend owns 65 GS convertible and have maybe 2-3 65 GS more here in Finland. I think this more like investment, keeps money value better than shareholders money in NY or Helsinki Stock Exchange and this was not too expensive investment.... Many has those later Stage 1 etc GS buicks but this 1st year is so clean and simple. "wolf in sheep´s clothing".

    Happy Halloween! (Oskar´s drawing)
