I know I posted this earlier this week, but I'm pretty excited about this ten year long woodcarving project finally rolling out of the garage...

Zombie, that's NEAT !!!! Plowboy , that's NEAT !!!..and the same for all of you .....this post just keeps gettin' better every week !!! I'll put in a thrift shop find. It's a shadow box that had an ugly bird pic in it, I had to buy a new clock and striped it inside and out and added a Roth tribute . And a couple a' panels I finished .

Here's a WILD model A coupe recently finished by Art Harness, you may have seen his green A pickup in various mags (rod and custom, ckdeluxe I believe as well, etc.). The Harness clan have the hotrodding gene for sure, and if you've been to a car show in kansas chances are you've seen their work.

    SOOOOOO MANY STRIPES!!!!!!!

I was dizzy when I finished... and the excessive paint fumes couldn't have helped the situation.

take a look at the home made intake system...

Did I mention there are alot of stripes? The interior is all formed sheetmetal that was paint White with Silver metalflake... pinstripes are light blue, yellow, and metallic silver (which is hard to see in the photos).

The door panels are almost identical... almost

The dash is custom made to look like a Flying Eyeball, painted by Art's nephew Kris Harness (also extremely talented Tattooist)

Here's a 'sample' I did for a friend. He's got a Tiki/surf themed Falcon wagon he wants wood grain painted on it. This is all one-shot on a piece of 8x10 inch plexi. The colors aren't right on, I just wanted to show him what the wood grain looked like.

I know this is kind of a request.

but i was curious if any one can pinstripe a question mark?

I love the Indian Larry question mark and i think it would be real bad ass if some one could like do a pinstripe of it or make a pinstripe theme with it.

    i suck at drawing and pinstripe so that’s y I ask :p

If its good enough ill get a tattoo of it :D

After being inspired by Zombie's great tractor piece, I threw a little twist on it, as if Rat Fink steals his tractor dragster.

    Here ya go Brush......

    Is you Talkin' ta ME?!?!?!

HAHA.... just kidding, but seriously, this is the first I've heard of the event. I mean I'll be there for sure (really, this time I'll write it on my forehead, just to be sure), it's your at Pop's place on Vandale right?

Do you need any help getting panels, odd items to stripe, food to eat, anything? I'd love to help out if your short on anything.

Is this "flavor" like a spice or a sauce? And where can I get a 50 gallon drum of it... just what my drawings need!:D

I saw Brush's post, and the name at the bottom of the first piece, and finally understood why the toolbox in the Rod and Custom illustration had a HAMB sticker on it. ;)
