Hot Rods Can you ID these front brakes

    I think these came from a Model A project I parted with a long time ago. If memory serves, they are '40 ford.

    If you guys can verify I would be very appreciative.

  4. I dont think those are 40' ford brakes. They had a cam type adjuster. They may have been fitted to a 40'.
    Can you give a measurement (diameter) of the drum width of shoe and a picture of the (hat) top of the drum?
    I would like to see if it's a cast or composite drum, can't be sure by the pic, but it looks composite to me.

  6. Are you running a Ford straight front axle in that car?Would be interesting to see how the spindles fit up.
