Features Kustoms blues? I need to see some kustoms....

  2. Maybe it's just me, but since I checked in on this thread from a day or two ago, there seems to be an abundance of chopped sleds in this group of photos without vent windows. This is just my personal opinion, but a chopped car without vent windows takes away from the dramatic look of a chopped top. Lots of work to lose that awesome effect.
    I know getting vent windows fitted, operational and cutting glass can all be a pain, but I think it has to be done. After all the work of chopping a top, cutting corners towards the finish line is a no no. Chopped sleds NEED vent windows. Just sayin'..........E

    I agree, I like chop tops with vent windows. Besides it looks better, it’s also nice to get some fresh air.

    No info with Pic, Do not know who's paintwork this is. I never know what I think about this type of fadeaway paint jobs, A big deal in the past, Gene Winfield top dog with this style I believe, still painting/working I believe, that and chop tops[​IMG]

    Winfield painted in ten plus years ago, we trailered it to his show in 2009 from tennessee stays right down the street from me

    Winfield built an unchopped version for a customer in the 50`s. This is the chopped version the way it should of been done back then.
