I always liked those flat tail light lenses, I cant remember the name of the company that makes them but they have been in business for years. Its some plastics company..

Now that's the bumper that should have been on the 57 500s IMHO! dJRFLd6.jpg

Mr. Norwell, I consider you a master craftsman and a very pleasant gent. I envy your talents and your '57s make mine look homeless. When I saw your "love '58s" caption I just figured that you were also a fan of Mad Dog 20-20.:):):D

The 58's really start to grow on you. At first I would have thought no way over a 57, but the more you look at the rear trunk , 4 headlights and the rest they look pretty good. The lines on the roof are kind of neat also.

Just stared to plough through this thread, but perhaps I posted sometime earlier...
My very first memory when I was two years old is my Dad's '57 Meteor and those turbine wheel covers. But I have a question about the second post. How did a Ranchero become a hardtop or is the hardtop the tribute that the Ranchero was built to emulate? If so my gawd, trying replicate that paint scheme must have taken a hell of a lot of work!
